Lauren Bosselait
Administrative Assistant
Beginning last December, Lauren is the newest addition to
the CDC staff. While Lauren will be a Pittsburgher for
life, she graduated from James Madison University in May and
quickly made her way to the altar in September. With an
undergraduate degree in Public Administration and Criminal
Justice, Lauren contemplated various career paths in federal
and local law enforcement. It was not until her senior year
of college that she finally decided that although her
studies in criminal justice were fascinating, she wanted to
go on to work in Higher Education. Lauren gained valuable
leadership and computer skills through her various positions
at JMU in the student union and dining services. Lauren
enjoys working in Student Development and hopes to return
part-time to graduate school in the fall to get her Masters
in Higher Education. Lauren also plans to continue her
education by traveling extensively in the future.
When not
at work, Lauren likes to watch reality TV, go to the gym,
and cook. Steelers football and Grey’s Anatomy top her
list. Lauren has two dogs, Zoe (border collie and
beagle
mix) and Harriett (all American bull dog), who wait
patiently for Lauren to come home each day so they all can
play!
