Leslie Williams Stevenson
Director
Originally from the Eastern Shore of Virginia,
Leslie graduated from the University of Virginia
with a degree in English and Sociology. After
working as a bank manager in the DC area, Leslie
returned to school for her Masters Degree in
College Student Personnel at the University of
Maryland. During that time, she taught her first
career planning course and interned in the career
center of a local community college.
After graduate school, Leslie went to work at
UVA in career services and had fantastic
experiences leading diversity outreach and employer
services efforts. She most recently served as
Director of the Career Center at the University of
Baltimore.
Leslie is relatively new to the Richmond area
and began working in the CDC in July 2006. She
looks forward to partnering with many
constituencies - students, faculty, staff,
families, employers, and alumni to assist UR
students in reaching their career goals.
