Build Your Brand On Campus

A guide to promoting your organization and opportunities on campus

Want Richmond students to recognize your organization's name? Are you searching for a way to bring more attention to your full-time positions and internship opportunities?

If your organization has posted an opportunity through SpiderConnect or participated in a recruiting event or program that involved Richmond students, there are many ways our office can help you build your brand on campus.
  • Join the UR Career Network through SpiderConnect. Create an online profile and network directly with Richmond students and alumni.
  • Partner with the CDC to volunteer your time or expertise for a CDC program or event.
  • Sponsor a Career Development Center event. E-mail Yolanda Macklin Crewe at ymacklin@richmond.edu for more information and opportunities.
  • Mail printed flyers or posters to the Career Development Center for campus distribution and display in CDC lobby.
  • Purchase an advertisement in the university’s student newspaper, The Collegian.
  • Contact relevant student organizations with your information.
  • Join the CDC’s Facebook site to post information, videos and pictures.
Available to on-campus interview and information session employers only:
  • E-mail Jenny Pedraza at jpedraza@richmond.edu with an 8.5 x 11” (full or half sheet) flyer. Our staff will make black copies on colored paper and distribute them in our lobby and at information tables.
  • Mail printed flyers to the CDC for distribution to student on-campus mailboxes. Please call for quantities and pricing. Requires 15 day lead time.
  • E-mail Jenny Pedraza at jpedraza@richmond.edu with a jpeg promotional image (805 x 603 pixels) for display on CDC lobby TVs.
At the CDC staff’s discretion, your organization or opportunity may also be highlighted on the CDC’s blog, on the center’s Web site, through student e-mail distribution lists or through faculty/staff communications.
