Signature Programs & Events

Evening of Etiquette

Beyond using the right fork with your salad, Evening of Etiquette will teach you everything you need to know to make the right impression during a business meal. Students in all majors and years can attend to mingle with CDC staff, fellow students, representatives from organizations and Richmond alumni and friends. View the 2009 Evening of Etiquette video.

Wellness Courses

The Career Development Center offers two courses that fulfill students’ wellness requirements for graduation.

Engage the Trustees Initiative

An educational opportunity for UR students to speak with members of the University of Richmond Board of Trustees through 60 minute informational interviews in small group settings. This program gives students the opportunity to speak with highly accomplished individuals, utilize informational interviewing skills and identify characteristics/skills needed for success in different career paths.

CDC Open House

In the beginning of the fall semester each year, the CDC welcomes students to the center for a quick overview of the CDC services, fun food and prizes.
